Rootkits - Its getting scarier out there...

Hi,

I have spent a few days trying to get rid of some Spyware...etc...

I finally found out I had a Rootkit that was hiding the Spyware.

Check out http://www.antirootkit.com . I used some of the software that they have there.

Alrite,, let's begin with HJT. Download HijackThis from here , and be sure to save it in a permenant folder. In other words, create a folder in Program Files, and name it HJT. Extract HJT into its own folder, and run it from there.
