I hope somone can help me out there.

I have the Aluria security system and 2 to 3 times a day it finds a virus in the System Volume Information Folder.

The exec file it quarantines is always prefixed with A00 but the numbers after change. For example yesterday I had A0024953.exe and A0024955.exe

Where are these files coming from?

Below is the HJT scan but I cant see anything wrong - your advice would be much appreciated. Thanks

Go to Start>Run and type msconfig. Press enter.

When msconfig opens, click the Launch System Restore Button.
On the next page, click the System Restore Settings link on the left.

Check the box labelled 'Turn off System restore'.

Reboot. Go back in and Turn System Restore Back on. A new Restore Point will be created.

Note that all previous restore points will be lost.

Thanks

That seems to have done the trick.
