hijackthis log

Expand Post »
Hi there, I've been having a problem that when I load the task manager it flashes up and then shuts down. I also can't run regedit, renamed it from exe to com and I now can. Based on what I've found there's a virus messing things up.

I've done the hijackthis and cleaned lots on my own. Heres's what's left.

Can someone help? Thanks.

You are correct. Remove the following (some are merely resource drains, but absolutely unecessary):

Re: hijackthis log

Hello I've been having the same problem with the Task Manager. PC was running too slow. Found strange file (wincom.exe and testfile) removed it from all my drives and regeedit but it revives itself often and I don't know how to get rid of it. Today found strange file (msgfix.exe) also removed it. If anyone knows please share the knowledge.

Here is my logfie of HijackThis.

Re: hijackthis log

Try this.
Please follow instructions found here & run the Msg121 fix. http://www10.brinkster.com/expl0iter...L2M/Msg121.htm

And that R3 entry can go as a bit of housekeeping.
