Why would I need to post a log? I appreciate people helping others, but I already solved my problem.. sure the log might reveal a couple of other problems and I actually know enough to fix them myself, you'll need to wait for desperate soul who will undoubtedly post their LOG for you to dissect ;-)

I am having a similar problem. Desktop shortcuts will not load. Programs will not load from the start menu. Can only run programs from keyboard shortcuts or run in safe mode. O/S is Windows 2K.
