It says no drive found

Ugh... if that's the case, you should install it in the other computer and see if that computer can acesss it.

My older brother, who started this thread, said we couldn't slave the hard drive to my computer because it was SATA and i had an IDE one, but he was wrong. We were able to access it and ran a virus scan on it with AVG and got rid of the trojans and worms, then we burned some files our step dad needed onto DVDs. We haven't had time to see if the hard drive would boot up on either computer yet. I'll post back when we try.

alright, we can now boot up on the origianl computer but the problem of not being able to use explorer.exe is still a pain. i work through mozilla but my parents refuse to use it cause there not used to it... here is the latest hijackthis log

i can't find my ewido logs... i save them to a place and they not there

There are still plenty of signs of infections in your latest HJT log, but it also looks like Norton was damaged or incompletely uninstalled. Can you tell us anything about that before we start performing fixes to the system?

i unistalled it using the add/remove programs. if you can help get rid of the rest of it it would be appreciated.
