Blinking blue question mark in tray

Dear Madam or Sir,

I too am stuck with a blinking blue question mark icon in my system tray which periodically shows me a balloon warning of critical system error. It looks like a persistant advertisement for something called Virusburst.

Are you familiar with a method I can use to get this off my PC?
