Cleaned but cannot get back online???

Here is my HihackThis log for my pc.
I've run AdAware but do not have antivirus and cannot update AdAware or SpyBot S&D because of no internet connection. This computer was replaced because of virus attack. I've tried to repair but got snagged somewhere???

Your internet connection is down?

Go to My Computer -> Tools -> Folder Options -> View tab -> Select Show Hidden Files and Folders.


Go to add/remove programs and remove: (if listed)

Webhancer

Run Hijackthis and Do a system scan only. Place a check beside:

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [webHancer Survey Companion] C:\Program Files\webHancer\Programs\whsurvey.exe

Make sure all other window are closed and click Fix Checked

Reboot into safe mode

Find and delete the following folder

C:\Program Files\webHancer

Reboot and post a new log

Download Winsock XP Fix

Run, Create a REG backup first and then click Fix.

Check your connection.

I've done what you asked again. The registry backup the program creates failed: error saving files; but I went ahead with the fix anyway and now Network Connections says Limited or No connectivity. How do I fix that after rebooting the modem, switch/router and computer?

Still no connection? Sounds like your only option is try a repair install or even a full reformat.
