Re: Help with HiJackThis log, please

Close all (browser) windows & rescan with hijackthis. When the scan is finished place a check in the box to the left of the following entries & click 'fix checked' :

R3 - Default URLSearchHook is missing

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [MSNSysRestore] C:\WINDOWS\System32\pc32.exe bg
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [RunDLL] rundll32.exe "C:\WINDOWS\System32\bridge.dll",Load

Reboot into safe mode following the instructions here & navigate to & delete

C:\WINDOWS\System32\pc32.exe< file

Reboot normally.

I am concerned about these two:
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [stcinstaller] c:\installer\id53.exe
O4 - Global Startup: PYYP.EXE

Please go here and have these files scanned.

Or alternatively Go here for an on-line scan & set it to autoclean for you.

Re: Help with HiJackThis log, please

So, it's not in the c:\installer\id53.exe installer folder?
Delete the other file (PYYP.EXE) from your startup folder then empty the recycle bin. Clear your TIF (temp internet files (offline included)) & all other temp folders.

Post a new hjt log after a reboot plz.

Re: Help with HiJackThis log, please

Jinshen. Just to inform you that you should start your own thread when you post a log in order to reduce any confusion that may arise. In this case it matters not as the OP's problems are solved. So we can go ahead & do yours.

Unzip HJT into it's own permanent folder before doing anything in order for it to create backups. (Not a temporary folder or the desktop & not directly on your hard drive). Close all (browser) windows & rescan with hijackthis. When the scan is finished place a check in the box to the left of the following entries & click 'fix checked' :

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [RunDLL] rundll32.exe "C:\WINDOWS\Downloaded Program Files\bridge.dll",Load
O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [HXIUL.EXE] C:\Program Files\Alset\HelpExpress\Matt\HXIUL.EXE
O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [WINT] C:\WINDOWS\System32\wcpsu.exe

Reboot into safe mode following the instructions here & navigate to & delete

C:\Program Files\Alset< folder

Reboot normally after doing the above then post a fresh log plz.
