Ezula and popups

Expand Post »
Urgh. Just when I thought I'm finished, stupid Ezula invaded my computer, tried to install itself (I terminated it manually when it's trying to force itself in my comp)...

I ran ad-aware , deleted all that's detected (it detected something that started with COOL__, and I've heard some nasty things about it..), and rebooted. I thought that's over, but when I rebooted, I got popups, even when I didn't click on IE or anything yet.

So... please help! Here's is my log RIGHT AFTER I rebooted after adware:

Thanks in adv.!

Re: Ezula and popups

I tried running Adaware couple times, and there are these 9 processes/files that always reappear. Here's the part of the AdAware log that lists the 9 files:

Re: Ezula and popups

Hello

It looks like you have the Peper.A Trojan. To get rid of it first can you please download and run this Peper Trojan Uninstaller from http://computercops.biz/downloads-file-330.html

Once it's finished downloading, double click it and let it install & run until it's finished.

When running it be sure to let it have internet access through any software firewalls you may have.

Run it again for good measure.

When done, reboot and post a new log. There is more to clean.....

Hello again,

Please go to the Control Panel, Add/Remove Programs. Select and remove 'AM Server' and 'POP'. Then reboot and post another HJT log
