Close all (browser) windows & rescan with hijackthis. When the scan is finished place a check in the box to the left of the following entries & click 'fix checked' :

C:\PROGRA~1\MSN\smarttag< folder
C:\Program Files\Common files\updater< folder
C:\DOCUME~1\ADMINI~1\LOCALS~1\Temp< contents of folder

C:\WINNT\alchem.exe< file

In order to view these files you may have to select 'show hidden files/folders.' Instructions on how to here.

Reboot normally after doing the above then post a fresh log plz.

Hi. As the folder name suggests, it's supposed to house files etc that your system uses temporarily, but unfortunately they build up & up unless cleaned out. A lot of program installations will place folders in this folder & then not delete them upon successful install of the program. Emptying this folder will do no harm. In fact, not emptying is worse as this particular folder is a prime target for virus' because it is normally hidden from your view.
There is also a temp folder in C:\Windows that should be cleaned out on a regular basis.

Your log looks good now.
Please read the link in my SIG regarding how you got infected.
