dll error at login

Expand Post »
Dear friends,

I am getting this message after login:

"Error loading D:/windows/sdkgh32.dll
The specified module could not be found"

My Windows XP is located in D drive

After clicking OK the PC works fine (hopefully)

I have run Adware scan, and spybot search scan but it did not remove the problem

I have run a HJT scan. Here is the log:

Re: dll error at login

It's an unknown module and may not be needed.
Remove the entry from startup by doing the following:

Start-->Run

Type:
msconfig

and look in startup for sdkgh32.dll

there is a check in front of it

check it off

and run a full scan using Ad-Aware 6.0 click here
be sure to download the latest reference file

Re: dll error at login

Important: Create a folder on the C: drive called C:\HJT.
You can do this by going to My Computer (Windows key+e) then double click on C: then right click and select New then Folder and name it HJT.
Unzip HijackThis into this folder. When you run HijackThis from this folder and have it "Fixed checked" it will create a backup file of modifications to use if restore is necessary.

Have Hijack This fix the following by placing a check in the appropriate boxes and selecting fix checked. Make sure all browser and all Windows Explorer windows are closed before fixing.

F0 - system.ini: Shell=Explorer.exe D:\WINDOWS\services.exe

F1 - win.ini: load=D:\WINDOWS\serv ices.exe

F1 - win.ini: run=D:\WINDOWS\servi ces.exe

Reboot and dun hijack and post new log .
