Bridge.dll Problem

Expand Post »
Hello. two days ago on start up of my p.c, the error WINDOWS\system32\bridge.dll occurs.

Having read up on this error, i have done the following.

Installed and updated Ad-ware 6.0, then removed eveything it found
Installed Spy-Bot and removed everything it found.
I then did the online virus check @ trend micro.

Then i did the Hijackthis scan. This is the log that it scaned.

Logfile of HijackThis v1.97.7

Re: Bridge.dll Problem

Unzip HJT into it's own permanent folder before doing anything in order for it to create backups. (Not a temporary folder or directly on the desktop & not directly on your hard drive). Close all (browser) windows & rescan with hijackthis. When the scan is finished place a check in the box to the left of the following entries & click 'fix checked' :

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [RunDLL] rundll32.exe "C:\WINDOWS\System32\bridge.dll",Load

Re: Bridge.dll Problem

It worked, thanks ever so much.

I don't know what i would of done without you guys.

In future do you recomend to use the Ad-ware & Spy-bot scaning tools frequently.

Thanks again.
