everytime i start Internet Explorer, a pop up from "www.search200.com/passthrough/popupbaropener.html" comes up. I have since downloaded and used Adware 6.0 but it still won't go away. Could someone help me get rid of it?

thanks in advance!

Re: Bridge.dll and other

Hi & welcome. Check this thread out http://www.daniweb.com/techtalkforums/thread7370.html & also Close all (browser) windows & rescan with hijackthis. When the scan is finished place a check in the box to the left of the following entries & click 'fix checked':

R0 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Start Page = http://search200.com/passthrough/in...p://www.msn.ca/
R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Search,SearchAssistant = http://search200.com/searchbar.html
R1 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Search Bar = http://search200.com/searchbar.html

R3 - URLSearchHook: (no name) - _{00D6A7E7-4A97-456f-848A-3B75BF7554D7} - (no file)

O2 - BHO: (no name) - {F904DDFF-52D0-5425-C1B7-91851453402F} - C:\PROGRA~1\DATADE~1\ace plan.dll (file missing)

O3 - Toolbar: 64 meow way - {E4331529-2BA2-50B6-C4D1-E2B41F676597} - C:\PROGRA~1\DATADE~1\ace plan.dll (file missing)

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [RunDLL] rundll32.exe "C:\WINNT\Downloaded Program Files\bridge.dll",Load

Uninstall then reinstall messenger plus but do not install the 3rd party sponsor, which comes from LOP.

Launch Notepad, and copy/paste the bold below into a new text file. Save it as URLRepair.reg (Change the 'Save As Type' to 'All Files'). Save it in C:\

REGEDIT4
[-HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\URLSearchHooks]
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\URLSearchHooks]
"{CFBFAE00-17A6-11D0-99CB-00C04FD64497}"=""

Locate it (in C:\) and double-click on it (launch it). You'll recieve a prompt similar to: "Do you wish to merge the information into the registry?". Answer yes and wait for a message to appear similar to "Merged Successfully".
