Spyware and pop-ups

W2K machine. Trying to cut back on pop-ups and spyware. Have used Ad-aware, Spybot, and CWShredder. This is my hijackthis log. What should be eliminated?

Load your computer in safe mode (press f8 after POST or power on self test ... its the black screen when the computer detects the hard drive(s) and such right when you turn on the computer) and then run ad-aware / spybot / cwshredder again along with whatever antivirus you have installed and then run hijackthis again. You will probably have a much smaller log file after this and perhaps someone would be more eager to assist you.

Sorry, I don't think this is any shorter. I made it after I ran spybot, adaware, and cwshredder in safe mode. Maybe I can still find help.

Close all (browser) windows & rescan with hijackthis. When the scan is finished place a check in the box to the left of the following entries & click 'fix checked':

Reboot into safe mode following the instructions here & navigate to & delete the following if found:

It is hard to believe how big the spyware/scumware problem is! It seems a person needs to run from 6-12 programs to either protect or clean up after these buggers! Even then you need to understand what you need to keep and what to throw away! Thank you!

Looks ok except for the fact that you have no AV or firewall (that I can see).
