Re: RUNDLL error p2esocks_1021.dll

Yet another incomplete log. The entire log must be copied from the txt file. You have no 04 or higher entries showing in the log now. Please run the scan again. When the log file is open press Ctrl+A together then Ctrl+C together. This will copy the entire log.

Re: RUNDLL error p2esocks_1021.dll

Unzip HJT into it's own permanent folder before doing anything in order for it to create backups. (Not a temporary folder or directly on the desktop (in a folder on the desktop is fine) & not directly on your hard drive). Close all (browser) windows & rescan with hijackthis. When the scan is finished place a check in the box to the left of the following entries & click 'fix checked' :

O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [Instant Access] rundll32.exe p2esocks_1012.dll,InstantAccess

Run a system search for p2esocks_1012.dll or InstantAccess or both & delete them if found. In order to view these files you may have to select 'show hidden files/folders.' Instructions on how to here.

Re: RUNDLL error p2esocks_1021.dll

Hello help, welcome to the TechTalk!

We ask that members not tag their questions on to a thread previously started by another member (regardless of how similar your problem might seem). Not only does it divert the focus of the thread away from the original poster's problem, but it also makes it less likely that you yourself will get the individual attention that you need. Please start your own thread and post your log there.

For a full description of our posting guidelines and general rules of conduct, please see this page:

Thanks for understanding.
