I was running my weekly scans with Spybot Search & Destroy, and Adaware, and Spybot S&D came up with 1 entry of eAcceleration. I had it fix it, but I was wondering if anyone knows what it is. I know it's spyware, but I was just curious as to exactly what it does to your computer, and how big of a risk it is. This is the first new thing I've had pop up my computer since I started using SpywareBlaster, along with my weekly scans using Spybot and Adaware and Norton Anti-Virus. Thanks!

This link might provide you with some information as to why eAcceleration is bad. It's not spyware, in that it doesn't collect much identifying information, but it is adware in that it pushes popups through to you.
