I am trying to upload ie6, windows and eventually down load msn9 for work. I am using my cousin's pc....a hunk of trash emachine...that being said...
I cannot do any of the above. When I reboot, the error message, mentioned in the title, pops up. When I try to update to ie6, I get a message telling me:
"A previous installation has pending work requiring a reboot, You need to restart your pc to complete that installation before running Internet explorer Setup. Setup will now close."
I have rebooted time and time again. When I do, nothing tries to install, all I get is the error message.
Any suggestions on how to A) get rid of the error, and B) figure out what the hell is trying to install?
