Basically since yesterday my laptop when it loads up the desktop comes up with two error messages. These are:

rundll.exe Bad Image
the application or DLL C:\WINDOWS\System32\spool\Drivers\W32X86\3\LXCFtime.dll is not a valid Windows image. Please check this against your installion diskette.

RUNDLL
Error loading C:\WINDOWS\System32\spool\DRIVERS\W32C86\3\LXCFtime.dll
%1 is not a valid Win32 application.

After these two error messages have appeared nothing else pops up except it doesn't load anything at all. That includes My Documents, Internet Explorer and even Football Manager 2007.

I am using Windows XP home edition and therefore also have no idea how to get into safe mode. If anyone could help in any way possible that would be brilliant.

Safe Mode: Boot and after the first beep hold F8 or press it a few times till you get the menu for going into Safe Mode. Log in As Administrator - I assume no password is needed.

But then what will you do? I douibt that you know.

So read the first three sticky posts in this forum, comply and come back.
