Well, I searched for "Beach Wallpapers" on google and downloaded a wallpaper installer. I didn't notice it warned me of stuff included. I got so many nasties that I had to reformat my computer. There were so many programs running in the background that my typing was choppy. It was pretty frusterating, because I had just finished reformatting 2 HOURS AGO!!

Search for Beach Wallpapers on Google. I'd link you to the site directly, but I don't wanna get that stuff again...

This would be VERY helpful if you could do this, though. Could you open it with FireFox, and try it? If you'd like, you could PM it to me, or send me the link to my email, which I could provide on demand.

I'm afriad I can't find it now. I'll do another search using Linux, but all the sites look the same. I don't know if I can find it again.

Here is an idea for getting more spyware and adware. There are a lot of rogue spyware removal programs that install spyware onto your computer. I have had this problem before and here is a site that I like that shows who's who. http://www.spywarewarrior.com/rogue_...e.htm#products. I hope this helps.

Have you all solved your computer problems?

If not please post a fresh log in here and i will tell you what you have been infected with and what to remove and do to solve ALL your problems

I am not sure if there is a Hyjackthis log specialist here? but there is now .

uh... the point is Alc is looking to get spyware so he can analyse the effectiveness of different programs etc...
I'm sure Alc doesn't need any help with his Hijackthis log...

I'm not really a HiJackThis "specialist", but I can hold my own in reading them. But, DaveSW is right-- I can solve pretty much any issue I come across; I am testing the general effectiveness of the spyware tools that a user is generally recommended to use.

Just the ot her day I was looking for free downloadable games to play and needless to say I found several and installed them only to find they had spyware/addware included in the exe. The first game is called industryplayer and the other is Wik and the Fable of Souls.

Also if you look for websites for cheat codes for some of the more popular games using http://www.cheatgenius.co.uk/cheatsi..._2_cheats.html as your base address.
