IE won't let site show pictures.

Expand Post »
The best way for me to explain this is to give this link http://www.realtor.com/FindHome/Home...nbath=2&mnsqft

When I go there there should be pictures of homes for sale. I get an address that I have to click on that takes me to the picture.

I was working fine untill blaze changed my homepage and added stuff to my tool bar. I have that fixed for now, have tried all the subjestions of copy and past to the run box.
This also did same to Netscape and to Mozilla firefox.

Re: IE won't let site show pictures.

Super-helper is here for your rescue. All you need to do is this. Press Tools inside explorer>internet options>advanced>scroll down until you see SHOW PICTURES, make sure the box is checked off beside it. This enables pictures to be shown on websites

Re: IE won't let site show pictures.

hmm...When i went to that site, the pictures showed up perfect. Only other reasons i could think of this problem happening is having a slow connection. Try going to internet options>security tab> then press default.

Re: IE won't let site show pictures.

Clear out your internet cach by pressing the 'Delete Files' button you'll find after selecting Tools -> Options.

The reset the settings on the Security tab to 'default', as GReddy4u suggested.

If that doesn't work then reinstall Internet Explorer.

Re: IE won't let site show pictures.

I've done default I've done delete files. I tried to do every thing I have found regaurding won't open links or windows that I could find searching through the fourm. I have DSL so my connection speed is better than adverage. Remember I had no problems untill blaze took over my home page and installed their tool bar and unistalled my google search bar and my yahoo search bar. had to reinstall these.

You may have a problem connecting because one of your bits of malware replaced part of your Winsock chain with its own stuff. When you removed it, it may have "broken the chain". Here is the link to LSPFix, which should help.

musemaker then responded with: It worked! And here's the process order:

* Run LSPfix.
* Delete all Dial-up adapters and network protcols.
* Delete all Winsock and Winsock2 registry keys.
* Under Add/Remove programs uncheck all of the listings under Communications.
* Reboot and then add back ALL the Communications items (although netmeeting and chat weren't necessary). It didn't work for me the first time as I have no need for a dial-up adapter, but it is the only way to get Windows to add back winsock2.
* Reinstall network protocol settings.

You may also still have some detritus left over from the removal process, as well. You might try to download and run HijackThis. Note: read the instructions on the linked page very carefully (the main download link is broken--use one of the mirrors). Do not actually remove anything from your startup or Registry until you have posted the log that it generates and are given explicit instructions on what to remove.

There may be other ways of approaching this problem, as well. Which DSL provider do you have? Which software do you run? On which Windows? What kind of modem?

Re: IE won't let site show pictures.

Try going into a regular file search, start>search; and type in Blaze. Delete all of the files that are associated with the file that you got installed onto your toolbar. Sometimes programs automatically change your homepage and add a toolbar to your explorer. I would suggest dont download any programs that unexpectedily pop up while your surfing a site. Try doing a new update on windows or re-install the whole windows. If that doesnt work, then i guess just buy a whole new cpu system,lol
