IE using all of my prosessor

Expand Post »
INFO:
OS: Windows XP service Pack 1
Computer: HP pavilion m703
IE version: 6.0.2800.1106.xpsp1.020828-1920

Situation:
My family has a computer we share. A few days ago we started havin gtrouble with Internett Explorer. It started freezing and clicking on the X in teh corner didn tshut it off. I had to use use the CTrl+alt+del command to bring up the help menu thingy to terminate the IE operation. This is where i noticed that IE was using 97 to 99 % of my prosessor.

This has been a a big problem. so a friend brought over a version of Opera ( teh norweagin browser) and it worked fine.
I tried doing a diognostic with my antivirus checking my antivirus was fully updated and used several windows diognostic programs i downloaded, but still the problem is there.

If anyone ever heard of anything like this id be happy to get an advice on
what to do.

[edit]
i saw that hijaker thing ran it and here is teh log:

Re: IE using all of my prosessor

O4 - Global Startup: WinZip Quick Pick.lnk = C:\Programfiler\WinZip\WZQKPICK.EXE

One more suggestion: make sure that you update WinZip to the newest version 9.0 because of this vunerability -- or use the free 7-Zip instead, which is more powerful.
