Advanced tab missing in IE 6 in win xp pro

hii,
the advanced tab is missing in IE 6, and i am using winxp proffesional and i saw a couple of thread before and i tried to find the HKCU\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Control Panel to check and change values but inside HKCU\Software\Policies\Microsoft\
the option internet explorer itself is missing so i am not able to do any changes on the reg key.... can someone help me please...
