IE problems with PHP

Expand Post »
i am having trouble all of a sudden with internet explorer.. everytime i type an address into the location bar, it refuses to load and in the status bar it names an unrelated PHP url that as far as i can tell from the name is some porn site, that doesn't load either.. i cannot load any URL in the location bar unless i type the full URL including http://www, which i never had to do before..

what worries me is i have no idea where this php address came from or how to fix this problem.. i have run ad aware, i have firewall software, i ran a privacy eraser program to clean the index and internet files out, etc.. my comp is totally clean and yet this problem will not go away.. it started just today all of a sudden and i can't fix it...

any ideas?? what the hell is php anyway? how can i fix this?
