When going to certain sites, CBS, Netflix and so on I get boxes with red x's in them and no pictures. If i go to the ToolBar View and Encoding and select either Western European (Windows) or Unicode UTF-8 I then get pictures. These selections have to be made every time I go to these sites, the selection I make in the Encoding area doesn't hold. How can I get the Encoding selection of Western European (Windows) or Unicode UTF-8 to hold? The UTF-8 may not be correct I didn't write it down but it is U?F-8.
Thanks.... I'll do that right now. I have talked to the Explorer Tech's, Yahoo Tech's and SBC Tech's and all say the problem isn't thiers. I've been trying to get help for this problem for three months.
Went to the Internet options, advanced, checked show pictures box..it's checked. Problem still exist. Tried using other browsers and I still have to click View, Encoding and either Western European Windows or Unicode UTF-8 before pictures come up in the boxes. These selections won't hold when I go to other sites. I spent four hours on the phone with the Explorer Tech and they still couldn't solve this problem. Maybe it's an unsolveable problem. I'm willing to try any advice for a solution you can give me. I'm really getting frustrated with the problem.

To everyone on this thread, I have followed all suggestions and many more and all I do is create even more problems. I will keep trying and if I get a fix I will post it for anyone who can use it.
