DNS Error

Expand Post »
Sorry if anyone has replied to this type of error before, but maybe someone could guide me. I keep getting an error with only one web site. I can access all other web sites except www.getmarriedinflorida.com. The bad thing is that this is my wife's company and she can't view it on her pc :!: We are able to view it on our daughters pc. If someone could point me in the right direction.
Thanks.

Re: DNS Error

The error comes up as http://search.msn.com/dnserror.aspx?...dinflorida.com

I have contacted the company that hosts the web site but they can help me.

Thanks.

Re: DNS Error

Thanks. This is a fairly new pc and had AOL free trail. Last night I joined AOL and used their Spyware program. Nothing came up. I managed to get on the web site via AOL. Tried again this morning via IE but still no luck. Any ideas?

Did you install the Jave program from Sun !
You don't need to get rid of IE ,Just use firefox to view the one site if it viewes it !

Re: DNS Error

Installed Java but still get the same error. I did manage to get into the web site yesterday but tried again this morning and no luck. Guess I will have to settle with not being able to open this via IE.
Reading through this other posts, do you think I need to run this program called Hijack? Where do I get it? What is cws?

Re: DNS Error

Yeah ,you could try hijackthis .
Get The latest Version of Hijackthis 1.98

Download 'Hijack This!'.HERE
Download link is on the left

Unzip (extract) it to a folder of its own.Like c:\HJT\hijackthis.exe ,

Then Doubleclick HijackThis.exe (in the new folder), and hit "Scan".
When the scan is finished, the "Scan" button will change into a "Save

Log" button.
Press that, then Ctrl-A to Select All, and copy its contents here. for

hijackthis, most of what it lists will be harmless or even essential,

don't fix anything yet.

Reboot and post Your log
