IE6 constantly pops up while surfing AOL

whenever i am surfing the net on aol (9.0), my ie6 constantly pops up (with no content loaded). What's wrong? How can i stop it?

my info:
winxp home, service pack 1, dell dimension 2400.
last few programs(descending from recent to past):google toolbar, gogodata pop-up blocker toolbar(ie),game maker 5, monopoly 3, winrar,norton anti-virus 2004 pro., adobe acrobat reader 6, flash mx 2004 pro.

get rid of it and try another browser like mozilla, opera, or deepnet(has p2p on gnutella built in).

You are getting spywares. Get rid of them by using anit-spyware software.
