Internet Explorer

Expand Post »
My internet explorer keeps shutting down. I can open it up but if I try to go to another website it just shuts down. Now I'm also getting an error message in outlook2000 saying that there is a problem with my pst file. I've done the detect and repair for that and the problem has not been fixed. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
My system is

Windows 2000
2 gig processor (pentium 4)
512 megabytes of Ram

Thank you.

Re: Internet Explorer

Does anything else in your system seem fruity? Any other applications automatically closing, or just IE? This is with ANY page you try to visit?

Here's the best solution to all your Internet Explorer problems.. are you ready for this?

http://www.opera.com

Now since most Windows users hate open source but don't like paying for any of their software, you'll easily be able to find a registration key (which will simply take out the _one_ add on the toolbar). Opera is expotentially better then Internet Explorer. I'll even show you how to do some pretty great things in it using the opera INI file

Re: Internet Explorer

Do you know if these web pages have Flash components on them? I ran into a similar problem today. To fix, I uninstalled Macromedia Flash player http://download.macromedia.com/pub/f...ash_player.exe and reinstalled IE (IE 6 SP1 in this case).

PST file may be corrupt or read only.

Re: Internet Explorer

Have you tried to fix Internet Explorer with the ads at the top of the page where it says free download. I wanted to try it just didn't know if it is safe.

Re: Internet Explorer

You can try a popular Outlook recovery tool called Advanced Outlook Repair to repair your PST file. It is a powerful tool to recover messages, folders and other objects from corrupt or damaged Microsoft Outlook PST files.

Detailed information about Advanced Outlook Repair can be found at http://www.datanumen.com/aor/

And you can also download a free demo version at http://www.datanumen.com/aor/aor.exe
