Dual OS Removal

My friend installed XP over ME, and now it's killing his hard drive...he wanted to know if anybody can provide any insight as to how to remove Windows ME now. Thanks!!

Wait...so he installed XP into a different folder on installation? If he upgraded, then he can remove Windows ME via Add/Remove Programs

Go into win XP and delete the win ME map, it should be c:\windows\
