98 Laptop - Power Management - Monitor goes black

Expand Post »
I have an old Sony Viao running Win 98. I am turning it into a digital picture frame. The monitor turns off after 15 - 30 min. If I hit a key or the touch pad it comes right back on. I was in the power management and have it to always on, and on both the plugged in and battery options I have everything to never. Any ideas?

Thanks for the suggestions. I had tried those, it ended up being a BIOS setting.
