My Dell Inspiron 8100 laptop has an internal CD-R drive. I bought a TDK CD-RW external writer and tried to install the software for the same. The ME OS hanged as soon as I restarted after installing the drive. I've temporarily de-activated it from the start-up menu and the OS is working fine. Now even if I insert the s/w CD into the internal CD drive, the OS hangs. Please help to install this s/w and use my new TDK CD-RW drive on my laptop.
