Is this possible?

Expand Post »
Hi there.

I have this old laptop with Windows 98 on it.
and its a Compaq Armada 7800 anyway i would like to see if i can reinstall Windows 98 by doing the following.

1. I Have the Windows 98 CD
2. I Have a PSP (PlayStation's Handheld Device)

Since this laptop does not have any CD i thought that i would be able to install Windows 98 by copying the Windows 98 Setup files to the PSP's Memory Stick. and then connecting it to the laptop to install from the PSP to the laptop's hard drive to completely format and have the new system of Windows 98 runing.

Is this possible or no please assist on this.

(My PSP has :512MB)
(also i have my PSP working on the Windows 98)

Re: Is this possible?

i'm doubt strongly that it will work, but you can try, just make sure your MoBo support booting from USB.

Re: Is this possible?

I concur. I strongly doubt that you'll have any luck getting that to work.
