Login Window Disappears

Expand Post »
The login window disappears before I can enter my login credentials! I have to continue manually rebooting the PC until I can enter the credentials before the window disappears.

This is a pretty recent development. The PC in question is running XP and is part of a domain.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Giff

Re: Login Window Disappears

You dont have to have a LOGON,you can have it go directly to desktoip when booting up if you want to.

Just Quickly click CANCEL and it wont ask next time you bootup (Or shouldnt ask)

Also try clicking LOGIN without entering a password, that might work also....

Good luck

Re: Login Window Disappears

Assuming your logon is Administrator,
You might take a look at
C:\Documents and Settings and verify the settings are accurate for
logon Administrator in all instances.
Also, verify settings in All Users, Default User folder are accurate.
