Scandisk error

Every time I turn on my computer, it says there may be phisical damage in my hard disk and recommends scandisk. But when I run scandisk in windows98se, it reports nothing wrong. can anyone tell me what the matter is? in fact, it bothers me a lot

We don't like ya!LOL
When you run Scandisk do you run the Through scan /surface scan .Also if you didn't allready it is better to run scandisk from the windows boot disk ,
