catroot

is the catroot folder in WIN98 under systems a hack or a real directory? cause i use irc, and i heard it could be a root exploit.. what is it should i delee the folder?>

Both C:\Windows\catroot and C:\Windows\system\catroot are valid Win 98 system folders. I think what you're worried about is the fact that there is an IRC trojan which adds files to your catroot folder in the course of its infection. More info on the trojan is here:
