can you carry over files from xp pro to xp home

I have windows xp pro on a virtual machine because when i tried installing it on my real computer it encoutered a driver problem and freezed during setup so i had to reinstall windows from the cd. So i wanted to know if i could just transfer files from windows xp pro on the virtual pc via email cds and disks and replace the windows folder and get all the new features.

P.s i dont have the xp pro cd and no i cannot tell you how i obtained it.
