lost xp for home admin password

My PC will not boot into windows. I want to do a repair but have lost my admin password. Anyone got any ideas?

If your doing a repair via the recovery console, try hitting enter (with no password).

Most OEM's leave this blank.

Tried that, it tells me any password I enter is not the correct one.

Download Hiren's Boot CD - http://www.hiren.info/pages/bootcd
Boot pc from CD and look for password recovery or change tools.
