"Generic Host Process for Win 32 services"

Expand Post »
My wife has XP SP2 on her machine, and has just started this problem. The sound also went away. The error comes up at various times, I don't see a pattern.

I want to thank you guys and gals for help in the past, I'm not an IT pro.

Re: "Generic Host Process for Win 32 services"

The title refers to Windows Services and there are quite a few of those. More info required - antivirus software, firewall installed, anti-spyware software, last scans with anti-virus/spyware software? Any software recently downloaded/installed?
