reformat without xp disc

I need to know how to reformat pc without xp disc i have never done it before but willing to give it a go as i need to sell this pc nice and clean i have disc and flopy drive please help

download bootdisk here ,either win98 or xp disk should help you format the drive .
you could also go to the website of the drive maker and get there hdd utility to do it .

Recently I installed a second HD that needed to be reformatted. On your desktop, Open up the
"My Computer". Then right click where it says
local disk. 2/3's of the way down...right click format. It will tell you to save any files that you want, because it will erase everything. Then continue with the prompts.
