uninstalling Norton

I have uninstalled Norton 2007 with the Norton uninstall tool and Microsoft remove but now have this startup message when rebooting : C

ROGRA~1\Symantec\S32EVNT1.DLL. An installable Virtual Device Driver failed DLL initialization
