if you are having a problem with explorer.exe you have to do a repair install, do you have a windows XP bootable cd

Yes I think I do, I got a red disk from DELL that says Reinstallation DVD: Microsoft Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005 with Update Rollup 2. I dont want to have any other files deleted i just want the explorer.exe file fixed, is this possible or do I have to do i have to completely delete and reinstall everything on my computer?
