Windows system folder

Every time I boot or restart my my pc, my "windows systen folder" opens. I can close it manually with no problem it's just a nusiance to me at this time.

I am running windows xp home with sp2

If either of those do not work, Try to check your startup folder and make sure some how mistakenly or not that the system32 folder did not get copied or moved there.

I finally got through to dell tech support and they had an easier solution then going through the registry as was suggested.

Start/run/msconfig then click on the startup tab, scroll down and look for a line with /L:ENG in it, unclick that then click ok, restart the computer and that worked.

Thank You to all that posted a reply here and offered thier help it was truly appreciated.
