Try opening regedit.
Click start > Run > type in regedit and enter.
Go to the following files and check them. I think it's the second one, it will say something about dont show folder options, etc. Then change the data for it
User Key: [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\
Explorer]
System Key: [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\
Explorer]
Value Name: NoFolderOptions
Data Type: REG_DWORD (DWORD Value)
Value Data: (0 = show options, 1 = hide options)
