Windows Xp Pro Setup Stop Message Help!!

Hi all,
I recently built a new computer, and I tried to install XP pro. During the setup all was fine until the "STARTING WINDOWS" part of the setup program, when I got a BSOD which gave me a stop message " STOP: 0x0000007e (0x0000005, 0x8081c223, 0xf8980fd0, 0xf8980ccc) ".
I have a SATA SEAGATE 120GB HDD which I loaded the drivers for at the "F6 to load RAID or SCSI drivers" part.
I then installed Windows 2000 pro fine with no problems at all????
I tried to upgrade 2000 to XP pro but had the same stop message after the restart for the install.....

The System specs:
Athlon XP 2800+
ASUS A7N8X-E Deluxe
2x 256 Corsair Value select DDR-RAM (512MB total)
GeCube Radeon 9600XT
Seagate 120GB SATA HDD
Pioneer DV108 DVD-Burner

HELP ME PLEASE!!!!
Thanks in advance,
Nathan
