2 Start Menue Problems

I'm running XP and I have 2 small problems.
1) my right click will not work on the start menus when I try to sort my programs.
2) I accidentally removed the Show Desktop icon on my task bar (I tried restoring defaults)
They sound insignificant, but they are helpful to have
pls help

1) I'm not sure if this will help specificly with your right click dilema but it's worth a shot.
