Hi all! I need help applying to grad school. All of the forms are online as .pdf documents. I'm supposed to somehow fill them out on my computer and then print them and mail them. One school suggests using cutting and pasting with a word processor. I have tried that and a million other ways to be able to fill out the forms and I can't figure it out! People I have talked to tell me it's not possible to do so, but I know that the grad schools somehow think it's possible. I have an old, crappy computer, Windows 95, and adobe acrobat 5.05. Can anybody help? I'm not good with computers so keep the technical jargon to a minimum. my future depends on this! Thank you!

There are several ways to do this. You don't need Acrobat full version; these forms are designed to be filled-in under Reader. If version 5 isn't doing it for you, try downloading and installing version 6.0 to start. Another appproach is to submit them on-line and get back plain-text versions: http://www.adobe.com/products/acroba...linetools.html
