Moniter doing wierd things.

Hi,

I've been having problems with my moniter lately. When I hook My computer up to my main moniter the screen ramains blank and all of the lights on the moniter light up. The computer boots but I cant see anything.

When I move the computer to another moniter the screen works however a blue box appears saying how my specifacations are set too high. When Xp eventualy loads up it is in 800x600 and constantly flashing and fizzing.

Any help would be greatly apreacciated.

I have a GForce mx 440 8x video card.

Probably your video card is set for a bigger resolution than that your monitor supports. Try set it for a smaller resolution (let's say 800x600) ans see what's happening.

Oh, and also set the refresh rate as small as possible...
