I just build my own pc i was wondering is there a way i can incrase the speed on it like if theres any tips or Tweaks i can use ill post my Specs

-Windows Xp Pro With SP2
-A-Top XBlade Black Case Ultimate Gaming Machine With 450W PSU
- Maxtor 120GB
-SAPPHIRE ATI RADEON 9600 Video Card, 256MB DDR, 128-bit
-Corsair Value Select 184 Pin 512MB DDR PC-3200
-Intel Pentium 4/ 3.0E GHz 800MHz FSB, 1MB L2 Cache, Hyper Threading Technology
-ASUS "P4P800 SE" i865PE Chipset Motherboard for Intel Socket 478 CPU
-Creative Labs Sound Blaster Live! 5.1 PCI Sound Card
-SONY Beige 52x32x52 IDE Internal CD-RW Drive
-Antec 80mm Case fan With 3 Blue LEDs

Getting more RAM usually helps in speeding up a computer. You can also try clocking it. I'm not completely sure how to do this, but I think there is usually a switch that you can use to clock it. There are also programs that can clock your computer. Be careful when clocking though, as it really heats up your computer. I wouldn't suggest it unless you aren't going to do it for long or you have a really good cooling system on your computer.

Thansk for the reply,if anyone knows how to clock my system please reply my pc runs cool i guess its be up for 2days havent restart its temp is 35C.any more infor you guys need please post

Don't overclock unless you can afford to replace you MB and CPU when you fry it !

Ya, overclocking isn't ever a good idea in my opinion. I'd go with more RAM if I were you. But if you must overclock, do be careful.
