auto shutdown

hi good day. my cpu is havin problem with auto-shutdown.. even i set this settings Settings / Control Panel / System / Advanced / Startup and Recovery / Settings. Make sure the box is UNCHECKED where it says "Automatically Restart" under System Failure." still my computer keep on restarting.

can you get into safe mode ,hitting f8 on boot up and chose safe mode with networking ,and run a online virus scan like this one .

I think scan your computer with anti virus. if your problem will not solve then repair your windows with xp cd
