Open Windows Defender, click Tools, General Settings, Scroll to and uncheck Turn on real-time protection.
Click Save and close Windows Defender.

=Dclick that file, mbam-setup.exe, to install the application, then ensure that it is set to update and start, else start it via the icon.
Select "Perform Full Scan", then click Scan; the application will guide you through the remaining steps.
Make sure that everything found is checked, and click Remove Selected. Examine the log: if some files are listed as Delete on Reboot then restart your machine before continuing.
Post the Notepad log [it is also saved under Logs tab in MBAM].
internet explorer help!!!!!
ok, im running windows xp professional, since yesterday my internet explorer has been givin me hell. when i type in an address i want to go to another internet explorer window opens and it wont load the page i am trying to go to, when i exit the second internet explorer window another and another opens. and this just goes on and on till i exit internet explorer completely. can any tell me what might be causing this? in another thread with an issue similar to mine someone told the person to give them a log report, so i got one from my computer.
