How did you try to get it back?
If you haven't already:
- Right-click on the taskbar.
- Choose "Properties" from the resulting pop-up window.
- Click on the "Start Menu" tab in the resulting window.
- If the "Classic Menu" option is selected, select the "Start Menu" option instead.
- Click "OK"
